Oatly Barista Edition Oat Drink is a plant-based oat drink specifically formulated for use with coffee and other hot drinks.
The drink is designed to create stable microfoam when steamed, making it suitable for baristas and home users who want to prepare drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos or flat whites. Its neutral taste is achieved through a blend of oats and unsaturated fat (rapeseed oil), which allows the flavour of coffee or tea to remain prominent while providing added texture and creaminess.
The formulation includes an acidity regulator (dipotassium phosphate) which helps prevent separation when the oat drink is mixed with acidic coffee. The product also contains added vitamins and minerals (vitamin D2, riboflavin, vitamin B12, calcium, and iodine) to match the nutritional profile of other fortified oat drinks in the Oatly range.
Oatly Barista Edition Oat Drink can also be used as a general milk alternative in cooking and baking. It performs well in recipes where a neutral plant-based milk is required and can also be consumed on its own.
The climate footprint of the product is 0.51 kg CO2e per kilogram. This figure is calculated by collecting greenhouse gas emission data from the full supply chain — from raw material production through to final delivery to retailers — using CarbonCloud’s analysis platform, based on 20 years of food system research.
Oatly Barista Edition Oat Drink is shelf-stable and does not require refrigeration until opened. It is free from dairy, nuts, and soy.
